The mountainous terrain of North Vietnam is a subject Hanoi artist Nguyen Van Hien has returned to often. This acrylic on paper scene, a distant line of minority people moving across a vast green landscape, is so meticulously done that a viewer is transported up the steep path into the misty mountain clearing.
